Pitlochry in Bloom have put out the Willow family as a tribute to our wonderful hard working NHS staff, and indeed all our marvellous key workers and community support folk who are looking after us so brilliantly.
The Pitlochry Partnership Committee held our monthly meeting by Zoom on 12th May to discuss various issues arising from the current Covid 19 pandemic. We understand the enormous impact this situation is having on our small community. We are heartened however by the support given at this time to everyone in need in Pitlochry.
Understandably, the news that Pitlochry Festival Theatre will remain closed this season, that the Enchanted Forest event will not take place till 2021 and Pitlochry Games are cancelled this year is very sad for us all. We are sure many of us had hoped for a partial recovery later this year, however, realistically, it would now seem unlikely.
We are keeping in touch with our many loyal visitors and once it is safe to announce we are opening up again, we will do so. For the moment, the news remains the same, all businesses are closed.
Pitlochry Now has been archived temporarily and a new Social Media page on Facebook for residents has been set up for the moment called Pitlochry News. Please join this for local information.
We hope all the information on the page set up will guide you as to help and information available .
If there is anything else you think should be there, please send us an email on email@example.com
