Now entering its third year, Heartland Festival has fast become a highlight on the Scottish live music calendar — a vibrant, family-friendly celebration of Scotland’s incredible musical talent right here in Pitlochry.
Set against the stunning backdrop of Pitlochry Recreation Ground, the 2026 event takes place from Friday 26th to Sunday 28th June, welcoming thousands of festivalgoers from across the country for three unforgettable days of music, community, and culture.
This year’s lineup features a stellar blend of established favourites and emerging talent. Headliners include Skipinnish, Peat & Diesel, and Marti Pellow on the Friday night, supported by names such as Cammy Barnes, Ben Walker, Torridon, The Laurettes, Starsailor, and many more.
The festival also shines a spotlight on rising Scottish acts through its newly named Scottish Citylink Discovery Stage — an exciting platform for up-and-coming artists to reach new audiences.
From relaxed afternoons on the grass to high-energy headline performances, Heartland offers something for all ages. Children under 13 go free, dogs are welcome, and food and drink are provided by local vendors and award-winning Scottish producers.
