A Highland Night is an evening of traditional entertainment, full of Scottish Music and Dance, hosted by the Vale of Atholl Pipe Band. The Highland Night season runs every Monday throughout the summer from mid May to early September.
The evening begins at about 19:15 with the Vale of Atholl Junior Pipe Band marching down through the town from Fisher’s Hotel in the main street to the Recreation Ground where the gates open at 19:00 for both those on foot and for parking cars around the arena, where the show runs from about 19:30 to 21.00. Our guests will be entertained by Highland and Scottish Country Dancers, Scottish Singers and of course the Vale of Atholl Junior Pipe Band. At the beginning and the end of the show, our guests are invited to experience the atmosphere and march along the street behind the pipe band!
Admission: Adults - £7, Children - £1. All tickets are purchased at the gate and car parking round the arena is FREE.
When the weather is poor the evening is held in Pitlochry Town Hall.
