Blair Athol Distillery, one of Scotland’s oldest legal whisky–making sites, is open 7 days a week, times varying dependent on time of year (not including Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Day and Etape Caledonia Sunday in May). Please check our website for more details.

Key Offerings at Blair Athol Distillery:

1. Distillery Tours*: Visitors can choose from various tour options tailored to different interests and levels of whisky knowledge:

Signature Tour (£19pp): Perfect for those new to whisky or short on time, this tour provides an overview of the distillation process and including of 3 drams and a complimentary memento to take home.

Allt Dour Tour (£65pp): For those seeking a deeper understanding, this more comprehensive tour delves into the finer details of whisky production and offers an extended tasting experience with exclusive samples.

Other premium experiences are available upon request, allowing guests to tailor their visit according to their specific interests and preferences.

* Please note that children under the age of 8 are not permitted on tours due to health & safety reasons. Children over the age of eight are welcome with a valid ticket (£8.50).

* For any guests wishing to drive, we are pleased to offer a take-away pack for your tastings on any of our tour offerings so that you can safely enjoy these later.

We advise guests to prebook their experience to avoid disappointment. If you are unable to find a suitable booking time, then please do still visit our retail store and Mash Tun Bar where you will receive a warm welcome.

2. Mash Tun Bar: The bar offers a variety of tasting flights, individual drams, cultivated cocktails, and much more. It's an ideal spot to explore different flavours and enjoy expertly crafted drinks. The bar is also a great space for those who are unable to or prefer not to join a tour. Additionally, live music sessions and food vans are available in our courtyard on specific days throughout the high season (April - September).

3 . Distillery Shop: The Blair Athol Distillery shop offers a selection of exclusive whiskies, providing a chance to purchase limited edition bottles. In addition to our premium whiskies, the shop features branded merchandise perfect for gifts or keepsakes, ensuring you can take a piece of Blair Athol home with you. Our knowledgeable staff are always ready to assist in finding the perfect item to commemorate your visit.
